Christopher Muriithi, 53, director of Mt. Kenya Professional Guide Services, has been a mountaineer for over three decades and has climbed some of the world’s highest peaks. He shares with EDNA GICOVI his rich experience in mountaineering and the twists and turns that landed him in the profession.

He has climbed mountains with several prominent people, most notably former US president Jimmy Carter in 1988 and American actor and film director Sylvester Stallone, known for his Hollywood action movies and portrayal of action character John Rambo, in 2002.
